Photo Album: Sub Slab Depressurization in McCall, ID

During the home inspection phase, the buyer's tested the house for radon. The average level was greater than 4.0 pCi/l.  The seller's contacted Idaho Radon for mitigation.  Based on pictures provided by the homeowner along with pictures from the real estate listing, we were able to identify the suction point and fan location ahead of time.  The basement floors had radiant heating, so drilling vertical through the slab was not an option.  With the basement being a walkout daylight basement, we were able to dig down and core through the footer to achieve a suction point under the slab.
