Indoor Air Quality Services Photo Album: Soil Vapor Gas Mitigation in Nyssa, OR
Idaho Radon was contacted by an environmental consulting company to assist in troubleshooting a persistent gas odor infiltrating a gas station convenience store through the concrete slab. Our team designed and installed a sub-slab mitigation system to establish consistent negative pressure beneath the slab. The existing vapor barriers were tied into a centralized collection point and vented safely to the exterior of the building. Following system installation and activation, the vapor intrusion pathway was effectively controlled, and the gas odor was successfully eliminated from the interior space. The mitigation system is now preventing subsurface vapors from entering the structure and
restoring a safe, odor-free environment for occupants.
