Radon Mitigation Photo Album: Crawlspace Encapsulation in Boise, ID

This project involved a single-level, 2,400-square-foot residence. A three-person crew completed the mitigation system installation in one day. We installed and sealed a 6-mil radon vapor barrier along all foundation walls and footings, creating a fully enclosed sub-area. A radon mitigation fan was then installed to depressurize the space beneath the barrier and safely vent soil gases to the exterior of the home. Post-installation testing confirmed that the average radon level was reduced to 0.4 pCi/L.
