Radon Mitigation Photo Album: New Construction Sub Slab Depressurization

We partnered with a local builder in Cascade with whom we have previously collaborated. Our team designed a system to depressurize the garage slab as well as several rooms located below the main level. Prior to the slab pour, we installed perforated piping around the perimeter of the designated area, with a vertical stub-out terminating in the future mechanical room. As framing neared completion, we returned to extend the pipe run up to the attic, where the fan assembly would be installed. To minimize roof penetrations, soil vapors were vented through a gable end.
