Radon Mitigation Photo Album: Passive Crawlspace System in McCall, ID
Idaho Radon collaborated with a local builder in Valley County on a new construction project to design and implement a passive radon mitigation system with no exterior piping or fan. The team identified an interior chase to route the vent pipe from the crawlspace to the attic, allowing it to terminate discreetly alongside other roof vents. Prior to crawlspace encapsulation by Energy Seal, Idaho Radon installed perforated corrugated piping on the ground while the builder’s plumber positioned the vent pipe within the chase to allow future activation if elevated radon levels are detected.
