Radon Mitigation Photo Album: Sub Slab Depressurization in Eagle, ID
This 1,800 sq. ft. basement required the installation of two active soil depressurization systems due to load-bearing footers that limited the ability to achieve adequate sub-slab suction with a single system. One system was installed on the north side of the home and discreetly concealed behind built-in shelving, while the second system was located in a storage room and routed through a crawlspace to a fan mounted on the exterior wall. Idaho Radon successfully reduced the average radon level to 1.3 pCi/L.
