A client experiencing significant water intrusion in his basement was also aware of elevated radon levels commonly found in his neighborhood. As part of the basement
restoration process, Idaho Radon was engaged to install a sub-slab depressurization system to mitigate radon concentrations and improve indoor air quality. This project was
completed within 5 hours and the client was happy to have a healthier home.
Idaho Radon was contacted by the buyer of an existing property which contained elevated levels of radon. The property sat on the side of a hill and contained both a walk-out basement slab along with about 700' of crawl space. Idaho Radon mitigated both sections and reduced the levels below 1.5 pCi/l. Remediation took about 9 hours for 2 people.
Idaho Radon was contacted by a realtor with whom we have an established working relationship regarding a residential property under contract with a basement. Radon mitigation was required prior to closing. Idaho Radon completed the building investigation, installed a mitigation system, and conducted the post-mitigation clearance testing, all prior to the seller’s contracted sale deadline.
Idaho Radon was engaged by the selling agent for this property to perform radon mitigation. The basement encompasses 1,350 square feet, while the crawl space, which also required encapsulation, measures 288 square feet. The suction point was strategically placed in the corner of the laundry room, enabling efficient piping into the crawl space and directing the exhaust to the side of the house for optimal fan placement.
